Pierre Miron has been working in the area of special events for almost three decades. Pierre Miron has developed a strong understanding of the everyday needs of organizing and implementing outdoor and indoor special events and ceremonies.
In order to satisfy a market requirement for professional event management, Mr. Miron founded in 1987, P.Miron Consultants, a production services company, which over the years, has developed into a leading firm in the industry.
In partnership with the community, Mr. Miron has been an active player in developing most major festivals in the National Capital Region such as: Franco-ontarien Festival, The Canadian Tulip Festival, The Ottawa Bluesfest, The Gatineau Loppet, The Ottawa Race Weekend and The Casino Sound of Light just to name a few. He was also Logistic Director in Vancouver for Place de la Francophonie during the 2010 Olympics. His expertise was also a key element in the success and implementation of the Mont-Tremblant Triathlon. He also provided his expertise in attractingboth the Ironman and Ironman 70,5 events in the Temblant area.
As principal of P.Miron Consultants, Pierre gets involved at the grass root level and provides and oversees the provision of services related to all events for which he is responsible from client liaison to on-site logistics.
Perfectly bilingual, Pierre seamlessly integrates client project teams and rapidly establishes the major expectations and deliverables as well as develops realistic budgets that take into account well developed and explicit contingency plans. Accustomed to providing services to outdoor events Pierre understands the importance of planning for the unexpected.
